"WATERCOLOUR ABSTRACTS" WEEKLY ART GROUP

This term is about taking a playful approach: letting go of perfection and allowing yourself to experiment and explore.
Simple yet complex, familiar yet unknown. This block of 12 lessons will help you find rhythm and balance. We will use the language of shapes, colours, mark making and textures to create imaginative art as well as paint familiar objects in an abstract style. Our paintings will be loose and lively, with focus on play and trying out different techniques and art supplies.
You will need: watercolour paint, watercolour brushes, watercolour paper, a white and a black pen. Please bring any other art supplies you have at home: pens, coloured pencils, crayons - anything goes!
The group is friendly and supportive, we all help each other. This course is perfect for beginners as well as experienced painters looking to refresh and improve their art skills. There will be time for live demonstration, painting practice, and discussion. The sessions are packed with useful information and are tailored to help improve confidence and technique.
