ART OF THE LIMITED COLOUR PALETTE
WEEKLY ART LESSONS
Welcome to Duxford Art Group! Our Autumn term is all about colour.
Make the most of your paint set with a series of 12 weekly lessons. You will play with the principles of colour theory, practice colour mixing, and learn to select colours that look lovely together.
You will learn to create both colour harmony and visual contrast. We will paint a variety of subjects such as florals, still life and landscapes. There will be a lot of freedom to explore your own subjects and themes within suggested colour combinations.
This course will be taught as a watercolour course. A list of recommended art supplies will be provided.
This course is perfect for beginners as well as experienced painters looking to refresh and improve their art skills. The group is friendly and supportive, we all help each other. There will be time for live demonstration, painting practice, and discussion. The step-by-step lessons are packed with useful information and are tailored to help improve confidence and technique.
